excellent showercomfortable bedtasteful design
i found the location superb, especially with its proximity to the metro and the gare du nord train station. the single room i had was thoughtfully designed and very tastefully appointed, which i found amazing. i particularly appreciated the excellent shower and the comfortable single bed!!!
the lift can be a little noisy at times, but it wasn't too disturbing for me.

The location is excellent. It's just one metro stop from gare du nord. i found several restaurants and shops, including a carrefour, within a few minutes walk which was very convenient. the staff was very friendly and helpful when i needed assistance. the area felt safe. It was busy with both locals and tourists (i was usually back at the hotel by 9 pm).
the elevator stops mid-floor which meant i had to take some stairs to get to my floor. the beds were comfortable and the place was very clean (which is always a plus).

the breakfast had many options (especially the pastries!). the space for breakfast is limited, so sometimes there may be a short wait. i appreciated the variety of items available each morning.

The staff was very cute upon my arrival. they gave me good recommendations for local places to eat nearby. i also liked that they spoke fluent english. It really helped me communicate as my french isn't that good.

I found the location very convenient. It was a short walk to the sacre coeur basilica and two metro stations. there were many cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby, useful. the street remained quiet at night, i slept well.
The walls seemed thin. I could hear noises from the circulation areas and adjacent rooms. this was a bit disruptive, especially during the evening.

the staff was very helpful, i must say. my room had a small balcony overlooking a quiet street, a nice touch. the location was excellent, a short walk to both the metro and the sacre coeur. i found several good restaurants and shops nearby (handy for picking up snacks).
the elevator didn't quite reach my floor. i had to navigate a few steps with my luggage, a minor inconvenience.
